Who is ELA?

Since 1961, the Equipment Leasing Association has been an ally to companies involved in the innovative and prosperous equipment leasing and finance industry. Today we are a national organization with more than 800 members and a staff of 25 professionals.

ELA's diverse membership consists of independent leasing companies, banks, captives, financial services corporations, broker/packagers and investment banks, as well as service providers like accountants, consultants, equipment managers, executive recruiters, insurance companies, lawyers, publishers, and software providers.

Shouldn't your company be a part of the ELA roster? Like all ELA members, you can expect big benefits from your ELA membership.

Business development opportunities The ELA Annual Convention, the ELA FundingSource online database, and the National Funding Exhibition are all ELA events that are structured to provide optimum networking opportunities.

Industry information The Survey of Industry Activity, Industry Compensation Study, reference resources, business surveys, and information outlets like Equipment Leasing Today magazine, ELT Enews Daily, ELA Online, and the Professor Lessor Telephone Hotline put the latest information on new business, accounting, and other important issues at your fingertips.

Professional Development Classes like Principles of Leasing, resources like the State Tax Manual, and scores of publications are available to train your employees in order to keep your company competitive.

ELA Advocacy On the state and federal levels, ELA is steadfastly focused on strengthening and protecting your rights as a lessor, and on helping you gain access to legislators and regulators.

These are only a few of the many benefits of ELA membership. Take a few minutes to explore the information that follows. Then complete a membership application and join us!

"Through its website, publications, conferences, training programs, advocacy, industry initiatives, and professional staff, ELA provides an exceptional conduit for continuous improvement, both for the leasing industry and for our company. We are unquestionably much more profitable, and much better positioned than we otherwise would be without our active involvement with the ELA."
